Penuh Asa: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar trying to help the editor verify the authenticity of the submitted manuscripts. As part of this process, selected submitted manuscripts will be scanned and compared against the Grammarly® Plagiarism Checker and Turnitin databases.

Plagiarism is when an author tries to pass off someone else's work as his own. Duplicate publication, sometimes called self-plagiarism, occurs when an author reuses significant parts of his or her own published work without providing appropriate references. This can range from creating identical papers published in multiple journals, to cutting salami, in which an author adds a small amount of new data to an earlier paper.

PLAGIARISM BEFORE PUBLISHING:

Penuh Asa: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar will assess each case of plagiarism at its limits. If plagiarism is detected by members of the editorial board, reviewers, editors, etc., in any stage of the article processing - before or after acceptance then we will alert the author of the same and will ask them to rewrite the content or to cite a reference from where the content is taken. If more than 20% of the paper is plagiarized - the article may be rejected and the same notified to the author.

WHEN TO CHECK FOR PLAGIARISM?

All manuscripts submitted for publication are checked for plagiarism upon submission and before starting review.

HOW TO HANDLE Plagiarism?

Manuscripts with detected plagiarism are handled based on the level of plagiarism. >5%

Plagiarism: The manuscript will be given an ID and the manuscript is sent to the author for content revision.

5- 20% Plagiarism: Manuscripts will be sent back to authors for content revision.

>20% Plagiarism: Submissions will be rejected without review. Authors are advised to revise the manuscript and resubmit the manuscript.

WHY MANUFACTURES WITH PLAGIARISM >20% REJECTED:

If plagiarism is detected more than 20%, it is found that the author is very unlikely to revise the manuscript and submit the revised version. However, authors are welcome to make necessary revisions and submit the manuscript as a new submission.

AUTHENTICITY

By submitting the author's manuscript to the journal it is understood that it is an original manuscript and is an unpublished work and is not being considered elsewhere. Plagiarism, including the publication of duplicates of the author's own work, in whole or in part without proper citation is not tolerated by the journal. Manuscripts submitted to journals can be checked for originality using anti-plagiarism software.

Plagiarism misrepresents ideas, words, and other creative expressions as one's own. Plagiarism is a copyright infringement.
