Sistem Sambungan Tektonika Rumah Kancingan di Merauke sebagai Ekspresi Arsitektur Vernakular: Analisis Perspektif Semper, Frampton, dan Mangunwijaya

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi sistem sambungan tektonika sebagai ekspresi arsitektur vernakular pada Rumah Kancingan di Merauke melalui perspektif teori Semper, Frampton, dan Mangunwijaya. Rumah Kancingan menonjol karena penggunaan sambungan kayu tradisional, seperti sambungan memanjang bibir lurus, menyudut, purus–lobang pen, dan pengikatan dinding kayu–bata dengan paku, yang mencerminkan prinsip struktural dipikul–memikul. Pendekatan kualitatif–eksploratif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi prinsip kerja sambungan, fungsi mekanik, dan ekspresi arsitektur yang tercermin dalam keterbacaan struktur dan kejujuran material. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi visual, kajian literatur, dan wawancara informal dengan pengrajin tradisional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem sambungan tradisional tidak hanya memastikan stabilitas, fleksibilitas deformasi, dan integritas struktural, tetapi juga mengekspresikan identitas kultural dan nilai estetika lokal. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi konstruksi hybrid kayu–bata vernakular dalam pengembangan teknologi struktur berkelanjutan dan memberikan acuan bagi inovasi arsitektur berwawasan kearifan lokal di Indonesia Timur.
