This journal is accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI), 5162/E4/AK.04/2021 with a score of SINTA 4. Sang Pencerah is a quarterly journal that is published in February, May, August, and November. Sang Pencerah: Jurnal Ilmiah Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton seeks Review articles, Case reports and original contributions from all areas of: Social Science and Humanities; Life Sciences; Health Science; Physical, Chemical Science and Engineering. The Journal invites original Research Papers, Review articles, Technical or Case reports and Short communications that are not published or not being considered for publication. This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. In-Press Publication Policy

Starting on Volume 8 No. 1, 2022, the Editor decided to design “in progress” publication policy which means all the accepted paper in Sang Pencerah will be swiftly posted in the Open Journal System (OJS) web to ensure the rapid knowledge-sharing among academia. The articles will serve as in-press article and have been undergo the reviewe process properly according to the journal standards and policies. The in-press article will be published in the upcoming issue or forthcoming issue. However, the articles have no particular publication date yet, until they are officially published on the website in a complete issue or volume.

New Accreditation of Sang Pencerah

We are pleased to inform you that Sang Pencerah : Jurnal Ilmiah Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton has been upgraded to a Sinta 4 rating. This is in accordance with the Accreditation of Scientific Journals Period I Decision Letter 5162/E4/AK.04/2021, which outlines the request for reaccreditation Rank Up from 5 to Rank 4 beginning with Volume 7 Number 1 Year 2021.

New Publication Charge

Dear contributors,

Started April 1st 2021 onward, Sang Pencerah will apply an Article Publication Fee of IDR 500.000 for each manuscript accepted.

This Article Publication Fee is charged to support the cost of wide open access dissemination of research results, managing the various costs associated with handling and editing of the submitted manuscripts, and the Journal management and publication in general. The author(s) or his institution will be requested to pay a publication fee for each article accepted for publication in the journal.

However, The Article Publication Fee will not apply for a paper with authors from two different countries or more.
