PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN SISTEM INFORMASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN PUBLIK

Abstract

The development of e-government is an effort to develop (use) electronic governance to improve the quality of public services in an effective and efficient way. The aim of this study is whether the use of information systems has an effect on improving the quality of public services in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the city of Baubau. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The quantitative research method is a type of research whose specifications are systematic, well planned and clearly structured from the beginning to the realization of the research project. According to the results obtained from the correlation analysis, this obtained correlation value is 0.790 so that the correlation value has a strong relationship and the result of the correlation test calculation has a significance value of 0.00 which is very less than the α value determined at 0.05. with these results the decision made was to reject Ho and accept H¬a, which means that there is a significant effect of the use of information systems in improving the quality of public services. From the calculation, the amount of influence of the use of information systems in improving the quality of public services in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the city of Bauba is 62,4%.
